Katelyn grew up east of Lacombe on her family's dairy farm. She graduated from Olds College in 2023, then joined Piper Creek shortly after April of 2023.

Katelyn and her boyfriend live outside of Red Deer with their German Shorthaired Pointer Frank. She has 15 cow calf pairs of her own, and when she's not working, you will find her on both family farms.
