Amber graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College in 1997. She moved to Alberta with her husband Kyle and daughter Sydney in 2007. They share their home with 2 cats and 3 dogs. Her free time is spent training her dogs and competing in rally and competitive obedience trials.
